Seriously. This week we have a special tip for you. Want to keep your rear quarter panels clean and free from rubber after your burnouts? Try Lemon Pledge. Not. Kidding.
We always keep a bottle of Lemon Pledge in our tow rig to spray on the car behind the slicks to make it easier to wipe of those little pieces of rubber after a day of burnouts and racing.
Another household item we take to the track is a bottle of Windex®. Our hot rod doesn’t have wipers. And hitting a bug at 130MPH makes for quite a mess on our windshield. So a bottle of Windex and a rag can be really useful.
Hopefully these tips help you win more rounds at the track (or at least keep your hot rod running clean!).
